This Privacy Policy explains how Adriatic Mediation LLC ("Adriatic," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit DivorceNavigator.ai, create an account, use the Divorce Navigator workspace, request a consultation, or contact us. We collect the information reasonably necessary to operate a divorce planning and mediation workspace. Depending on how you use the service, this may include:
Divorce-related information can reveal financial, family, and other sensitive details. Please provide only what is needed for your matter. Do not upload Social Security numbers, full bank account or payment-card numbers, medical records, passwords, or other highly sensitive information unless the service specifically asks for it. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider when payment features are available; we do not store full card numbers.
We use personal information for the following purposes:
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, our legal basis may be performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.
We may disclose personal information to:
A provider may process information in the United States or another country where it operates. If an international transfer is subject to a law that requires additional safeguards, we will address that transfer as required by the applicable law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encrypted connections, access controls, secure session handling, password hashing, logging, and least-privilege access. No online service is completely secure. Keep your credentials confidential, use a unique password, and notify us promptly at privacy@adriaticmediation.com if you believe an account or workspace has been accessed without authorization.
We retain information for the periods described below. These periods describe the Service's current manual account-management process; the Service does not currently use an automated deletion routine or a fixed backup-expiry schedule.
We may preserve information longer when necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, or protect rights and safety. If you make a deletion request, we will handle the request manually, subject to any lawful exception. You may contact privacy@adriaticmediation.com for information about a pending request.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise a right, use Account Settings where available or email privacy@adriaticmediation.com. Please include enough information for us to verify your identity and understand your request. We may ask for additional information to prevent unauthorized disclosure. We generally respond within 30 days under GDPR and within 45 days under applicable U.S. privacy laws, subject to lawful extensions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You may also use an authorized agent where applicable law permits, subject to verification.
We use necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain security, remember preferences, and support core features. We do not currently load third-party advertising, analytics, or session-replay tools. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. Before enabling nonessential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or our practices. We will post the revised policy and update its effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice, such as an email or an in-product notice, where required by law.
